Went for Beautiful Sunday, West Wind’s concert. Finally got to get the gallery seat, but Jonas was stuck outside with his friend. So he is like !@#$%^* when he found out he missed POTC Curse of the black pearl. I think he missed one hellavuh performance since its one of his likings. Made him feel guilty today for something. I should be feeling guilty for making him feeling very guilty.

Went home with 2 Vandoren reeds. I wonder when will things be like if there isn’t any (since I used up all my reeds leaving me with only one) – probably screw up the next practice/performance. Went home and listened to some solos and made me ponder over some things – Jonas too afraid to do a solo, some people are without any confidence (including me). I don’t think I would be able to do solos la. I am afraid of the audience in the dim setting and most importantly, my playing isn’t up to standard. I am thinking in investing a mouthpiece and such. Not just to improve my tone but also makes me play with more comfort.

Tried my fresh reed and it finally feel how it should feels. At first there will be some resistance that requires me to use more air and then the resistance wear thin. I was like – so fast meh? Sure imitation vandoren reeds or not? In the past years, it took me about 1 whole day for the resistance to wear thin. Oh well, maybe because I don’t have anything to play in the past? Lol.

I did something stupid today, I received some brochures at one go at city hall. 5 BROCHURES! I went to the Mrt and after going inside the gantry, it felt discomforting to hold it la. So awkward. So I did something witty, I tried acting like a distributer and distribute the flyers. I gave one, a lady took it. I gave 4 at E one go and she took it without noticing. Damn funny luh. Emptied my hand within a minute since we cannot find a dustbin already.

Hmm, I realised I still need more reeds, I thinkI should have bought more though. Needa go reed-shopping with Mitchell tomorrow.
